2018 guard David Hearns had a standout performance at the Motor City Roundball Classic versus Pershing. Hit the jump for fresh highlights of the Hazel Park senior. David had it going from distance, knocking down three catch and shoot triples. Hearns displays fluid shot mechanics with nice arch and good rotation. 2018 guard Cortez Garland had an MVP worthy outing at the MLK Classic, dropping 25 points and 3 assists against Flint Beecher. Hit the jump for fresh highlights of the Detroit Renaissance senior. Cortez was on fire from deep, knocking down 5 triples on the game. Garland buried shots from distance off the dribble from NBA range and did a superb job relocating when he played off-ball to give his teammates good passing angles before converting his triples. 2020 wing Earnest Sanders had a big time performance against Detroit Renaissance this weekend. Hit the jump for fresh highlights of the athletic 6’3 sophomore out of Flint Beecher High School at the MLK Classic Event. Sanders displayed his explosiveness on several occasions, finishing at the rim with authority in addition to multiple chase-down blocks in transition.
