2021 guard Tyson Davis had a big time performance at the DPS Hoops Classic, dropping 23 points and 5 assists against Cass Tech. Hit the jump for fresh highlights of the Goodrich freshman.

Tyson was stellar at getting to paint and finishing at the rim. He was able to break the defense down off the dribble repeatedly before converting in traffic with superb body control on a variety of side steps and up-and-under layups. The shifty floor general also buried a catch and shoot triple from the left wing. As a playmaker for others, Davis also forced the defense to commit in the open court when he attacked with speed before finding teammates for easy shots. Tyson also made quick swing-passes against Cass Tech’s lengthy 2-3 zone defense that resulted in a few triples for his shooters. Davis is a speedy guard with good change of direction that absorbs contact and has excellent body control. The future looks bright at the PG spot for Goodrich, as they have their playmaker for the next 4 years. See  below for highlights.
