2019 guard Chandler Turner had a huge performance at the Horatio Williams Tip Off Classic in Detroit. Hit the jump for fresh highlights of the versatile and skilled 6’6 junior from Detroit Renaissance HS.

Turner had the full arsenal on display Saturday afternoon at Cass Tech. He created his own shot all day long, beating defenders off the dribble from the wing before finishing with an array of up and under layups using great body control. Chandler’s perimeter shot looked extremely good, as he buried multiple midrange jumpers off the bounce and connected on a catch and shoot triple as well. In addition to his tremendous skillset, he mixed it up on the glass and had a few putbacks after working for offensive rebounds. Not just a scorer, Turner hit teammates in stride in the open court for easy buckets.  While Chandler doesn’t have the national recognition just yet, we think he may very well be the most underrated prospect in the Midwest. He’s a versatile three level scorer at 6’6 that can create quality shots off the dribble or play off ball and space the floor with his outside shooting. See  below for highlights.
