2019 wing/forward Davis Lukomski showed tremendous growth at the Level Up Elite 80 Showcase. Hit the jump for highlights of the sharpshooting junior out of Detroit Catholic Central High School.

Primarily known as more of a catch and shoot forward, Lukomski seems to have made a noticeable improvement in his ability to create shots off the dribble. On numerous possessions he was able to create space on his defender with sudden crossovers and change of direction dribbles. While he didn’t finish at the rim on every one of those instances, you can see the ability to get to the rim is there. With continued strength, you’d expect Davis to start finishing through contact with regularity and that is a dangerous weapon at his size. He also mixed in some nice physicality in the paint, crashing the boards and showing good motor with multiple jumps for rebounds. His shooting prowess was on display as usual, with Lukomski knocking down multiple triples off the catch as well. We really like the additions to Davis’ game, he looks primed for a huge junior season with his ability to be more versatile. See  below for highlights.
