2019 guard Trey Syroka was absolutely superb at the Level Up Elite 80 Showcase. Hit the jump for highlights of the junior out of Toledo Whitmer High School.

Although we had never viewed the Whitmer floor general prior to Saturday, he came in with a reputation as a great passer and he didn’t disappoint. Trey displayed elite vision all day long, and did a superb job at making his teammates better as he delivered pinpoint assists all over the court. Syroka was lethal in high pick and roll with teammate Carrington McCaskill, finding his roll man several times for dunks and lay-ups. In transition he was great at keeping his head up and advancing the ball ahead without overdribbling, allowing his wings to have space when finishing. Trey also displayed a tight handle with good control of the ball and the ability to change direction in tight spaces. He gets to his spots on the floor and controls the pace of the game effectively. Syroka is one of the few High School prospects we’ve viewed that can dominate the game without scoring. See  below for highlights.
