2020 wing Mikeal Jones was one of the most talented underclassmen we viewed during the Spring/Summer. Hit the jump for fresh highlights of the versatile and skilled sophomore-to-be at the Fab48 event in Las Vegas.

Jones was nothing short of phenomenal in a high level matchup against Team Breakdown at Bishop Gorman High School. Despite playing up 2 years in the 17u division, Mikeal was able to consistently get to the rim off the dribble and finish through contact or draw fouls and convert at the line. He displayed great footwork on a nice spin move from the left wing that created separation and showed range out to 25 feet on his jumpshot with good form. While Mikeal already has tremendous skill, his motor and physicality in the paint were equally impressive. He boxed out and gave multiple jumps for rebounds on numerous occasions and was one of the better rebounders in the game regardless of age. It will certainly be interesting to track his development moving forward, but early signs point to Jones being an elite prospect for the 2020 class.
