Urban DFW point guard Kennedy Milton had a productive showing in Las Vegas for the final live evaluation period. Hit the jump for fresh highlights of the talented floor general at the Adidas Summer Championships.

Milton was superb in one of the most entertaining games we viewed all weekend when Urban DFW took on Twenty Two Vision in an overtime classic. Kennedy came out of the gate looking good, knocking down a catch and shoot three from the left wing and took off from there. The 6’2 guard showed a really nice handle, breaking defenders down with sudden crossovers and change of speed dribbles to create separation before knocking down midrange jumpers on multiple possessions. While his scoring ability was certainly impressive, Milton’s vision was among the best we viewed in Las Vegas. He consistently found teammates with accurate passes for easy layups in both pick and roll sets and in isolation after forcing helpside defense to commit. Defensively he was extremely active in the passing lanes and converted deflections into transition points. This is the best we’ve seen out of Kennedy in a live viewing, and he may be putting it all together. While his recruitment is mostly a mid-major affair at this point, Milton may be trending toward high-major with performances like these and will be one to track moving forward.
