2019 big man Will Baker showed an elite offensive skillset at the Adidas Summer Championships. Hit the jump for fresh highlights of the talented Texas post prospect last week in Las Vegas.

This was our first time viewing Will live and he certainly stood out in a major way. Three level scorers are almost exclusively limited to perimeter players, but that is exactly the type of ability and skillset Baker has. He was at his best against Upward Stars, hitting threes out of pick and pop action, facing up and connecting on midrange jumpers from the free throw line and scoring on the block with his back to the basket. Not just a scorer, Will also displayed tremendous vision in the paint, where he repeatedly found cutting teammates in addition to kick-outs to his guards when double teamed. It is extremely rare for an underclassmen to excel playing a year up on a shoe circuit, even moreso for underclassmen post prospects, but Baker is that skilled. Will averaged 19.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and block per game while shooting 64.2% from the field and 50% from distance during the Adidas Summer Championship event. While the EM 2019 rankings have yet to be released, Will has the look of a top 40 type prospect that will be a priority to big time programs. See below for highlights.
