Endless Motor 4* Center Dimon Carrigan released a top 8 of Syracuse, Miami, Wichita State, UConn, Texas, Houston, Georgia Tech and Clemson. Hit the jump to get comments on each program from the best shotblocker in America.

BABC center Dimon Carrigan has gone from under the radar prospect to one of the elite post players in the country in little more than a few months. His development has been tremendous, culminating at the Peach Jam where he averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds and close to 4 blocks per game on 51% from the field. His domination of the paint has paid off in the recruiting world. Carrigan has racked up close to 20 offers within the past 90 days alone. The athletic 6’9 shotblocking machine spoke on each of his top 8 schools, see below for details:

Texas – as soon as they had any type of interest in me they didn’t miss a game, even with me having no phone

Houston – they were there for me in the very beginning and never gave me any doubt of how I can come in and impact the team

Miami – the pride and passion I feel every time I was on the phone with any coach really sticks out

UConn – if I’m staying near home, I can’t go wrong with UConn. They have a true brotherhood on that team

Syracuse – the history and success of the program is great and they have some of the best fans

Clemson – they really emphasize family and loyalty and you can’t go wrong with that

Georgia Tech – I love Atlanta. They sent me letters as soon as my phone stopped working to show me I was a priority

Wichita State – they play with a chip on their shoulders and that’s all I’ve been playing with this whole time

Dimon is hands down the best shotblocker in America, and holds record for highest shotblocking rate in EYBL history. While his defensive presence cannot be disputed, he’s also made big strides offensively. With a nice jumphook over the left shoulder, soft touch around the rim and great athleticism, we think Carrigan has potential to be a double-double player at the next level. Stay tuned to Endless Motor in the coming months for the latest on Dimon’s recruitment. See highlights of Dimon below:
