Duane Washington has established himself as one of the best guards in the country this Spring. Hit the jump for some impressive film on the 2018 combo-guard and EM top 100 prospect.

Heading into this Spring, the Grand Rapids Christian (MI) guard was a well-known commodity throughout Michigan and the Midwest. However, he was a bit under the radar on the national scene. It was very evident during the initial EYBL Spring event at Boo Williams that Washington could not only compete against elite level competition, but be one of the best prospects among that group. Duane has proven to be one of the elite shooters in the entire country, knocking down nearly 46% of his three point attempts during EYBL play thus far. The most impressive attribute of Washington’s game is the ability to create his own offense off the dribble. He consistently knocks down contested midrange shots off the bounce and finishes in the lane with an excellent floater over bigger defenders. While his scoring ability is no longer in doubt, his vision is an underrated facet of his game. Duane finds teammates for easy buckets from pick and roll action and once helpside defense commits to stopping his penetration. See below for highlights.
