2019 point guard Bryce Cook was one of the better sophomores we viewed during EYBL session 4. Hit the jump for fresh highlights of the shifty floor general over Memorial Day weekend in LA.
Byrce was absolutely dynamite with the ball in his hands against City Rocks. He consistently created separation against his defender in isolation situations with a shifty handle that allowed him to rise up and bury clean jumpshots. Out of pick and roll sets, Cook displayed a great floater from 8-14 feet in order to negate the shotblocking of bigger defenders. While Bryce did a tremendous job scoring the basketball, he also showed some flashes as a creator for others. He was able to find his bigs off the slip for easy layups and find his shooters for open threes on kickouts once helpside defense cut off his driving lane. Cook looked good as a finisher as well, displaying great body control and getting into the chest of the defender to get off a clean look. See below for highlights.
