2018 center Dimon Carrigan is one of the more underrated post prospects we’ve viewed this Spring. Hit the jump for fresh highlights of the athletic 6’9 big man over Memorial Day weekend in LA for EYBL session 4.

Carrigan was an absolute stud against Expressions Elite on day 1, finishing with 14 points, 8 rebounds and a block. Dimon showed off a really nice jump hook over his left shoulder where he had good elevation and soft touch. We really liked his hands, as he was able to catch passes in tight spaces with no issues consistently. Carrigan was excellent at finishing in the paint, where he displayed really soft touch and was able to convert through contact a few times. Dimon also displayed some quick twitch explosion when he rose up in traffic for a two-handed dunk with good elevation. Defensively, he only blocked 1 shot but altered a ton more and made life tough for the opposition in the lane. Carrigan is among the truly elite shotblockers in America, as he leads the EYBL circuit in block percentage at an astounding 16.3 rate on 3.4  blocks per game. Dimon has all the physical tools you want from a high-major center – good frame, great length and nice athleticism – and is already an elite defender. His recruitment is a bit under the radar at this point, but whatever school he attends is going to get an absolute steal. Dimon averaged 9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.3 blocks per game through 4 games over the weekend for EYBL session 4.
