2018 point guard Javonte Smart continued to solidify himself as one of the best prospects in the country during EYBL session 4. Hit the jump for fresh film on the 5* floor general over Memorial Day weekend in Los Angeles.

Javonte did a really good job changing speeds off the dribble all weekend. He made a living walking defenders up before hitting the gas to gain separation toward the rim for good looks at the basket. We were really impressed with Smart’s body control when finishing. He was able to convert several contested layups in heavy traffic by contorting his body to get better angles on the shot. Javonte has one of the better floaters we’ve seen in the 2018 class, and he buried a series of those shots from 6-9 feet away as well. He also displayed range out to 26 feet, knocking down two deep triples against Mac Irvin in addition to a nice isolation three off the dribble against The Family. He averaged 14 points, 4.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds through 4 games over the weekend. See below for highlights.
