2019 big man Tyreek Smith has been one of the more impressive underclassmen we’ve viewed on the 17u EYBL division. Hit the jump for fresh highlights on the athletic 6’9 post with high upside.

Tyreek put on his hard-hat and went to work in Los Angeles over Memorial Day weekend. He consistently finished through contact around the rim and displayed nice touch. Smith was active on the boards and rebounded outside his frame. Tyreek is a good looking athlete that runs the floor extremely well and has some quick-twitch explosion around the rim. In the half-court he has great hands and has displayed a nice jumphook over his left shoulder. With continued development, we see Tyreek as a high-major PF/C with tons of potential to be a double-double type threat with great shotblocking ability. See below for highlights.
