Team Florida wing Trendon Watford was among the best prospects we viewed in LA for EYBL session 4. Hit the jump for fresh highlights on the 5* wing.
Watford took his game to another level in Los Angeles, and Day 2 may have been the best we’ve ever seen him. Against PBC, Trendon imposed his will with a versatile attack from several different spots on the floor on his way to 16 points. He broke down the defense off the dribble in isolation consistently, where he was able to finish at the rim or find teammates for easy shots at the basket. Watford used his superior size and strength in the post as well, backing down defenders in the paint before converting layups. His motor was on full-tilt all game, as he sprinted in transition and absolutely crushed the glass with 14 rebounds. Against Boo Williams, he showed off a nice looking stroke from the midrange, ran the floor well and finished contested lay-ups and floaters with both hands. See below for highlights.
