2018 wing Jaylen Hoard had an outstanding weekend in LA for EYBL Session 4. New highlights on the versatile 6’8 junior from Memorial Day weekend after the jump.

Jaylen’s smooth stroke was really impressive against CIA Bounce, as he knocked down a few shots beyond the arch, including one from NBA range. Off the dribble Hoard looked very fluid, displaying good vision as the ballhandler out of pick and roll when he found a teammate in stride for an easy layup. On another occasion he was able to get separation when he attacked a closeout from the baseline before finishing at the rim.  Jaylen handled the ball well in transition, where he was able to freeze a defender with an in-and-out dribble before being fouled at the rim. Hoard averaged 18 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists per game while shooting  52.1% from the field and 55.5% beyond the arch during 4 games in Los Angeles.
