Tindley (IN) guard Eric Hunter Jr. is seeing his stock improve this summer thanks to a productive Spring with the Indiana Pros.

An elite scorer with a great stroke that gets buckets at all 3 levels, Hunter — who ranks number 78 for the class of 2018 per Rivals — has the skillset to slide to either guard position.

“I think I’ve played well, playmaking and scoring the ball well,” Eric told Endless Motor Sports.

When we last viewed Hunter at the Spiece Run-N-Slam in Fort Wayne 2 weeks ago, it was obvious his game has developed since last year.

When asked what was the most improved facet of his game, Eric didn’t hesitate to say “definitely my 3 ball.”

The sharpshooting lefty’s offer list includes Butler, Minnesota, Creighton, Purdue, Xavier and Nebraska among others.

In addition to the aforementioned programs, Eric reports interest from Michigan, Missouri, Arkansas, Ohio State, and Indiana.

There are four programs in particular that Hunter is hearing from the most.

“Purdue, Xavier, Nebraska, and Minnesota are the schools showing the most interest.”

While Eric claims no leaders and does not have a timeline for his commitment, there is a Big Ten school he intends to see.

“I plan on getting up to Minnesota for a visit this summer.”

For now Eric is being patient with his recruitment and is locked in on taking his game to the next level.

“I just want to play better and improve every week,” said Hunter.

We look for Eric to add more high major offers this summer. He’s a knockdown shooter from distance and midrange with a nice handle. While he’s known for his scoring outbursts, his vision and playmaking ability for others is what makes him such an intriguing prospect as a combo-guard. Hunter can play on or off-ball while being equally effective.
