2018 guard Rashad Williams has been a revelation this Spring playing with The Family. The talented 6’3 guard is catching the attention of scouts and coaches with stellar play against elite competition.
Williams has been one of the better guards during EYBL play, averaging nearly 11 points, while shooting better than 45% from the field and beyond the arch. Rashad has displayed range out to 27 feet and has a quick release, good arch and very good mechanics on his jumpshot. In the opening game against OH Nova, he buried 3 triples on his way to 15 points for the game in helping The Family to a victory. Williams has also displayed nice ballhandling, with the ability to create separation off the bounce in the halfcourt using change of direction and superior strength. He may not have been a huge name on the national scene prior to April, but programs in need of a floorspacing guard should definitely be taking a look at Rashad. See below for highlights.
