2018 wing/forward Robert Woodard was one of the more productive prospects during EYBL Session 2. The 6’6 junior showed off a versatile skillset from several different spots on the floor.

Robert played extremely well versus Southern Stampede, pouring in 11 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and a block. Woodard displayed a great shot from the midrange, knocking down multiple catch and shoot jumpers from the 15-18 foot area. He’s an elite rebounder for a small forward, he gives multiple jumps on the glass and has a great motor. While Robert is well-known for his scoring outbursts and outstanding rebounding, we were really impressed with his vision.  He was able to break down the defense off the dribble before finding teammates for open looks on multiple occasions. Woodard really excelled on the defensive end as well, jumping passing lanes for steals and providing solid helpside defense. He’s a very good athlete with good verticality, above average lateral movement and a strong frame. Robert is one of the more well rounded players we’ve viewed this spring, and is very solid at nearly every phase of the game. See below for highlights.
