2018 wing Darius Bazley had a dominant performance at the Run-N-Slam in Fort Waye. The 6’8 junior showed tremendous playmaking skills that make him one of the best available players in the country.
Known as a great ballhandler that creates shots for others, Bazley showed a greatly improved jumpshot. Darius was able to consistently knock down shots from beyond the arch off the catch and the dribble. While his shot from distance was the best attribute of his game for the weekend, Bazley certainly made his presence felt in other areas of the game. He was very impressive at the midpost area, where he was able to connect on midrange shots or find teammates for open looks at the basket with tremendous vision. While most national publications have Darius in the 70-80 range, we see him as a top 50 type player at minimum. His combination of size, length, skill, and positional versatility make him a legitimate threat to play four different positions at the next level. See below for highlights.
