Indiana Pros guard Eric Hunter had a superb weekend at the Spiece Run-N-Slam event in Fort Wayne. Rivals’ #78 player in the country for 2018 solidified himself as one of the best perimeters players in the country.
Eric displayed elite scoring ability, scoring at all 3 levels from a variety of different spots on the court. Hunter really thrived shooting off the dribble, where he buried difficult shots consistently from both midrange and beyond the arch. While Eric’s shooting ability is never in doubt, he really impressed with his ballhandling. He consistently created separation against defenders with change of direction and change of speed dribbles. A more underrated facet of Hunter’s game is his passing ability. He threaded the defense in pick and roll sets on a few occasions and found his teammates for easy buckets once the helpside defense committed. If Eric can continue to develop his playmaking skills for others, he’s going to have a long list of suitors by the end of Summer. See below for highlights.
