2019 guard Chris Harris is a name to become familiar with. While he’s not a big name on the national scene just yet, his game is certainly worthy of big time attention.
Chris absolutely dominated during the opening game of EYBL Session 2 against Houston Hoops, pouring in 18 points on 4/4 shooting from beyond the arch. Harris displayed NBA range, a quick release and solid mechanics. Not just a shooter, Chris also flashed the ability to create shots for himself off the dribble with good change of speed before knocking down a pull-up jumpshot from the elbow. Chris is a very unique prospect, because of his strength advantage he also has the ability to post up smaller guards and is a capable scorer in that regard as well. Through 4 games over the weekend, Chris averaged 11.3 points per game while shooting better than 45% from the field. Did I forget to mention that Chris is playing up a year in the 17u division of the Nike EYBL? Chris’ impressive play paid dividends, as both UNLV and Tulsa extended offers within the last week.
