Galena HS (NV) junior Moses Wood has been one of the biggest surprises during the first two live evaluation periods. The talented 6’7 wing/forward has proven himself as a multi-skilled prospect with the versatility to play several positions on the floor.

Moses is turning heads on the EYBL circuit  with great performances against elite competition.  Wood’s shotmaking ability was on full display all weekend long during EYBL Session 2 in Indianapolis. Mo shot 40% from three on 15 attempts and displayed range out to 25 feet, while knocking down midrange jumpers off the dribble as well.  He also demonstrated the ability to create shots for himself and others, as he was able to penetrate off the dribble and consistently find teammates for easy looks. The best thing about Wood is his versatility, as he also played the high post against zone defenses and was able to shred it with good passes from the free throw line area on several occasions. Mo is averaging 10.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 47.8% from the field and 43.5% from distance through 2 EYBL sessions. While Moses may not have been a huge name on the national scene prior to the last 2 weeks, it is near certain that he will be on the radar of college programs across the country moving forward.
