MEBO Express guard Gabe Watson has been a revelation during EYBL Sessions 1 and 2. The talented 6’1 guard caught the attention of scouts and coaches with stellar play against elite competition.

Watson has been one of the better guards during EYBL play, averaging nearly 11 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game thus far. Gabe has displayed range out to 25 feet and has a quick release, good arch and very good mechanics on his jumpshot. Against Southern Stampede, he buried 5 triples on his way to 17 points for the game in helping MEBO to a victory. Watson has also displayed nice ballhandling, with the ability to create separation off the bounce in the halfcourt. He may not have been a huge name on the national scene prior to April, but programs in need of a floorspacing guard should definitely be taking a look at Gabe. See below for highlights.
