Houston Hoops’ Jacobi Gordon put on an impressive display of athleticism and skill over the weekend during EYBL session 1. The 6’7 wing/forward proved he can thrive playing against the best talent in the country.

Jacobi brought consistent effort all weekend long, running the floor as good as any prospect during session 1. That effort paid off as Gordon was able to get out in transition and finish above the rim with great body control and verticality. In the halfcourt Jacobi really displayed good ballskills from the wing against Indy Heat, beating his defender off the dribble on several occasions. Against the Las Vegas Prospects he displayed his versatility by knocking down 2 catch and shoot threes. Not just a scorer, Jacobi rebounded the ball well and jumped passing lanes for steals and easy transition buckets. It was a successful weekend for 247’s number 64 player in the country, as he averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds per game while shooting better than 68% from the field. See below for highlights.
