2018 guard Duane Washington had a breakout weekend during the first session of EYBL. The talented 6’3 guard proved himself as a high-level scorer that gets buckets at all 3 levels.

Washington turned heads in his EYBL debut at the Boo Williams Sportsplex with 14 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds against Meanstreets. Duane was superb at knocking down shots off the dribble, burying several from both midrange and beyond the arch all weekend long.  He also showed really nice court vision on a few occasions, hitting the roll man out of pick and roll sets. For the weekend Washington averaged 14.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game while shooting better than 54% from the field. While Duane may not have been a huge name on the national scene prior to this weekend, it is near certain that he will be on the radar of college programs across the country moving forward.
