Houston Hoops’ Jamal Bieniemy had a breakout weekend during the first session of EYBL. The talented 6’4 guard displayed a versatile skillset that had coaches and scouts taking notice all weekend long.

Bieniemy turned heads in his EYBL debut at the Boo Williams Sportsplex with 15 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds against Wisconsin Playground Elite. Jamal showed impressive ballhandling ability, consistently breaking defenders down off the dribble with change of direction speed dribbles to create separation and easy looks at the basket. He was at his best creating for others, as he recorded 5 or more assists in 3 of 4 games over the weekend to help Houston Hoops to a 3-1 record. While Bieniemy may not have been a huge name on the national scene prior to this weekend, it is near certain that he will be on the radar of college programs across the country moving forward. His unique blend of size, ballhandling and court vision is a rare combination indeed. See below for highlights.
