6’9 big man Dylan Swingle had an impressive weekend at the Michigan Invitational in Detroit. ESPN’s #40 center in the country displayed a tremendous amount of skill around the basket and will be one to watch this summer.

Dylan has all the fundamentals a coach wants from a traditional post player. He has soft hands, sets great screens, and seals off defenders. On offense, Swingle used his pivot to get defenders out of position for easy scores on several occasions. He has soft touch around the rim when finishing, and has a really nice jumphook going over either shoulder.  He seals his defender off consistently and opens up passing lanes for his guards.
