2017 Michigan State commit Xavier Tillman was absolutely dominant against Kalamazoo Central.  The 6’8 post finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds, 8 blocks and 4 assists and helped GR Christian punch their ticket to the State Semifinals.

Xavier displayed great footwork in the post, with quick spins toward the baseline on both blocks on several occasions. Tillman converted everything around the rim, and has really soft touch with either hand. While his scoring prowess has never been in question, Xavier’s court vision was the most impressive attribute he showed off on this day. Tillman hit teammates in stride with precision passes from the high post and as the ballhandler in transition. Not just an offensive threat, he finished with 8 blocks and altered a ton more. It’s easy to see why Xavier is a great fit for Michigan State and head coach Tom Izzo. See below for highlights.
