2017 Michigan commit Isaiah Livers ended his high school career with a great run in the state playoffs. The 2017 Michigan Mr. Basketball winner proved he can score at all 3 levels, while being a great passer and a very underrated perimeter defender.

Isaiah put on a tremendous shooting display in the regional finals and quarterfinal games. Livers showed the ability to knock down perimeter shots consistently from both distance and midrange, both off the catch and the dribble. Against East Lansing, he knocked down a stepback jumper from 3 going left in the first half and a nice catch and shoot three off pick and pop action in the second half. While Isaiah’s shooting prowess is well known, his vision is superb for a prospect of his size. At 6’8, his ability to find teammates for easy layups once the defense commits is a tremendous asset. He displayed that passing ability several times in both transition and the half-court against East Lansing and his teammates reaped the benefits. Livers was extremely impressive shooting off the dribble in the quarterfinal matchup against Grand Rapids Christian. Isaiah knocked down 2 triples off the bounce, one going left on a stepback and the other going right on a pullup. He also added a stepback jumper from midrange for good measure.
