Coming into the season, Fowler wing/forward Mason Pline was a bit under the radar. The 6’8 junior is beginning to command more attention, as he continues to solidify himself as a stockriser with a 21 point and 8 rebound performance against Laingsburg.

The best thing about Mason is versatility, he produced from so many different spots on the floor. Pline is a really good shooter off the catch from distance, and also displays the ability to knock down shots off the dribble. Mason is great in the post as well, where he uses a quick first step to create space then finishes at the rim with superior strength. Pline has great touch around the rim and can finish with either hand effectively. Mason produced off the dribble as well, attacking closeouts on straight line drives, and impressive weapon for a prospect of his size. See below for highlights.
