Endless Motor Sports had the privilege of speaking with Marcus Bingham, one of the fastest rising wings in the 2018 class. The Grand Rapids Catholic Central (MI) standout speaks on the high school season, describes his game and where he’s at with the recruiting process.

     I. High School Season

EM: How are things going for Grand Rapids Catholic Central so far from a team and individual standpoint?

MB: The season has been going good, only lost 2 games the whole season, can’t be mad at that. I’m looking to be a leader on my team and facilitate as much as possible.

 

 

 

     II. Self Analysis

EM: Can you describe your game for those that aren’t familiar?

MB:  I’m a 6’9 wing that can shoot, pass, dribble, that can play and defend every position on the floor.

 

 

 

     III. Recruiting

EM: What offers do you currently hold?

MB: Oakland University, Toledo, Ferris State, and GVSU

EM: Which schools are showing interest that haven’t yet offered?

MB: Butler, Purdue, Cincinnati, Akron, Central Michigan, St. Joseph’s, Illinois State, Xavier, Akron, Notre Dame

EM: Which schools are recruiting you the hardest/do you hear from the most?

MB: Butler, Cincinnati, Akron and Central Michigan are who I talk to the most

EM: Any visits line up?

MB: Notre Dame today, Purdue next Saturday, and Oakland next Sunday

 

 

 

     IV. Season Goals

EM: What are your goals for the rest of the season for both the team and yourself?

MB: We want to win a conference title and make a huge run for a state title. I want to lead my team to championships.
