Endless Motor Sports had the privilege of speaking with 2018 4star wing Brandon Slater, the #31 player in the country per Scout. The Paul VI Catholic (VA) standout speaks on the high school season, additions to his game over the summer and where he’s at with the recruiting process.

     I. High School Season

EM: How are things going for Paul VI so far from a team and individual standpoint?

BS: This is a great season for both me and my team, we are just having fun and playing great basketball.

 

 

 

     II. Off-Season Improvements

EM: What did  you work on and add to your game over the summer and fall?

BS:  I’ve been trying to get my shot more consistent, making more plays and being more aware on the floor.

 

 

 

     III. Recruiting Update

EM: You had a really great summer and showed college coaches what you were capable of. What offers do you currently have?

BS: Syracuse, Villanova, Temple, Virginia, Maryland, Miami, Virginia Tech, UCF, South Carolina, USC, Louisville, West Virginia, George Mason.

EM: Which schools are showing interest that haven’t yet offered?

BS: Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Florida State

EM: Which schools would you say are recruiting your the hardest/show the most interest?

BS: Syracuse, Miami, Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Villanova

 

 

 

     IV. Season Goals

EM: What are your goals for the rest of the season for both the team and yourself:

BS: I just want to be the best player I can be for my team and I think everything else will come. As for team goals, we want to win everything.
