Endless Motor Sports had the privilege of speaking with 2018 4star forward Jerome Hunter, the #77 player in the country per Scout. The Pickerington North (OH) standout speaks on the high school season, additions to his game over the summer and where he’s at with the recruiting process.

     I. High School Season

EM: How are things going for Pickerington North so far from a team and individual standpoint?

JH: We’re doing alright this season, we’re 10-5 and still have 7 more games so we have time to fix it. But from an individual standpoint I think I’m having a good season just not winning enough games right now.

     II. Off-Season Improvements

EM: What did  you work on and add to your game over the summer and fall?

JH:  I worked a lot on dribbling and shooting. I worked on shooting the most because I have to get my shot falling consistently, but I’ve been working on  a lot of moves with the ball coming down the court as well.

     III. Recruiting Update

EM: You had a really great summer and showed college coaches what you were capable of. What offers did you pick up?

JH: Xavier, Florida, Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Purdue, Penn State, West Virginia, Wright State, Stony Brook, Michigan, Toledo, Dayton

EM: Which schools are recruiting you the hardest/do you hear from the most?

JH: Pitt, Xavier, and Purdue

EM: Any visits line up?

JH: No, not right now

IV. Season Goals

EM: What are your goals for the rest of the season for both the team and yourself:

JM: To just finish with a winning record and win our OCC and not lose any more games.
