Endless Motor Sports had the privilege of speaking with 2019 5star wing Jordan Mitchell, the #23 player in the country per Scout. The Gahanna Lincoln (OH) standout speaks on the high school season, additions to his game over the summer and where he’s at with the recruiting process.

     I. High School Season

EM: How are things going for Gahanna Lincoln so far from a team and individual standpoint?

JM: This season so far has been kind of a struggle. We’ve lost a lot of games that we shouldn’t have, to a bunch of teams we were better than. But we’ve just been struggling on finishing games out and starting them right. But individually I’ve been doing really good. I’ve been doing everything I can to put our team in the best position to win.

     II. Off-Season Improvements

EM: What did  you work on and add to your game over the later summer and fall?

JM:  A more consistent mid range jumper and I’m starting to get my three ball more consistent.

     III. Recruiting Update

EM: On the recruiting front, which schools have offered?

JM: Florida, Iowa, Xavier and OSU

EM: Which schools are showing interest that haven’t yet offered?

JM: Kansas, Texas, Michigan, Kentucky, Stanford, Indiana and Nebraska

EM: Any visits line up?

JM: Not yet

IV. Season Goals

EM: What are your goals this season for both the team and yourself:

JM: To improve our record a lot and get better as a unit to strive for our team goal, which is a State Title. And individually I just want to keep gaining more offers and win our conference 5 years straight.
