I. AAU & SELF ANALYSIS
EM: Congrats on the great Spring/Summer so far, you’ve turned some heads with your ability. Can you tell us how things are going for Houston Defenders as a team and for you individually heading into the final weekend of play?
JL: As a team we have been playing very well. Been winning a lot of games and one of the best teams in UAA. Personally, I have been playing well. I had some growing pains but overall it’s been well.

JL: I’m a 6’8, 220 wing-forward. I can dribble and shoot really well. I like to play hard and do what the team needs.
EM: How often do you work on your game?
JL: I work on it everyday, twice a day. Even three times if there is an opportunity.

JL: Alabama, Arizona, Baylor, Houston, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, LSU, Oklahoma, TCU, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest
EM: Which schools would you say are recruiting you the hardest right now?
JL: All the Texas schools and UCLA are really making me a priority.
EM: Do you have a top group of schools that you’re focused on at this point?
JL: Not really. All that really happens at the end of the summer if anything.
EM: What factors are important to you and your family when making your college decision?
JL: Just that family feel. Because that’s going to be my home away from home. Play style to see how my game fits in and also my major academically.

IV. PERSONAL GOALS & ADVICE
EM: Any personal goals on or off the court?
JL: On the court being the best I can be and ultimately making it to the NBA, and to get my degree if basketball doesn’t workout.
EM: Last, if you could give the youth some advice on how to succeed either on or off the court, what would you say?
JL: It’s all about hard work. Anything you want to do in life you can achieve, it’s just how much work you put into it.
