Elijah Hardy is an elite student-athlete currently attending Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland, California. Elijah is one of the most highly coveted prospects in the country, currently ranked the #12 point guard and the #51 player overall in the class of 2018 per 247Sports. The 6’2 floor general is a hot commodity for college coaches seeking a point guard that can penetrate a defense with a tight handle and change of direction, create easy buckets for bigs with elite court vision, and knock down perimeter jumpers off the bounce or the catch.
I. AAU & SELF ANALYSIS
EM: Congrats on the great spring/summer, you turned some heads with your ability. Can you tell us how things are going for Team Arsenal as a team and for you individually?
EH: Things are going great for Team Arsenal, we’re really expanding as an organization. Coach KP has really worked hard in making this an elite program. Being there from the beginning its crazy to see how far we have come. I’ve been open to a lot more opportunities and connections through Arsenal. I still have a ton of work to do in becoming the best player I want to be!
Team Arsenal 17s 6'1 G Elijah Hardy looks really good, 3 for 3 in less then 2 min to bring his team up 42 -40 vs Ultimate Fieldhouse

EM: Can you describe your game for those that are not familiar?
EH: Pass first point guard that loves to get others involved. I need to work on my offensive game a lot more as far as becoming a better scorer, and need to get better as an on-ball defender
EM: How often do you work on your game?
EH: Not enough, but I try to everyday whether that’s studying the game or playing or working out.
2018 point guards Elijah Hardy and Immanuel Quickley have done a really good job of finding guys, creating for teammates. #USAB

Elijah Hardy plays with an explosive burst. Great play maker that does well at getting others involved. Didn't back down from older kids.

IV. PERSONAL GOALS & ADVICE
EM: Any personal goals on or off the court?
EH: Not that rankings matter, but I want to climb the latter sometime soon and be a top 3 guard on ESPN.
EM: Last, if you could give the youth some advice on how to succeed either on or off the court, what would you say?
EH: Trust the process, and don’t take the easy route in anything! Meaning school, basketball, or family, or even your girlfriend lol, just never cheat the process. I’m trying to prepare myself, because things aren’t always going to come easy for me.
