Greg Foster Jr. is an elite student-athlete currently attending Homestead High School in metropolitan Milwaukee. Greg is one of the fastest rising high school prospects in the entire Midwest, currently ranked the #4 player in the state of Wisconsin for the class of 2018 per 247Sports. The 6’5 floor general is a lengthy and versatile player with ballhandling skills and vision to create easy looks for teammates, while also being able to fill it up from deep with a sweet stroke from the perimeter. On the recruiting front, Greg is receiving plenty of attention from college coaches seeking the jumbo point guard with the size and skillset to play multiple positions in a versatile role that has become all the rage in modern basketball.
I. AAU & SELF ANALYSIS
EM: Congrats on the great Spring, you turned some heads with your ability. Can you tell us how things are going for Wisconsin Playground Elite as a team and for you individually?
GF: Well, as far as PGE things are going pretty well, we should be able to come back stronger in July than we were in the Spring. And as for me, things are going great, I just need to keep working hard and everything else will come.
Team Harris lost to Wisconsin Playground Elite 68-66. Greg Foster Jr. had 17. 2019 center Antwan January ended with 15 points & 9 rebounds.

EM: Can you describe your game for those that are not familiar?
GF: I would describe it as being smooth and making the right decisions whether it be shooting or knowing when to pass.
EM: How often do you work on your game?
GF: Almost every day.

II. ACADEMICS AND OFF-COURT INTERESTS
EM: Can we talk a bit about your interests as a student, what is your favorite subject?
GF: My favorite subject would probably be Science or History.
EM: What do you plan to major in when attending college?
GF: I’m not quite sure what I want to major in yet, but maybe something along the lines of engineering.
EM: What are your interests off the court?
GF: I like to fish and play video games with my friends.

EM: Shifting a bit to recruiting, can you tell us which schools have offered?
GF: UTEP, Baylor, and UW Milwaukee when Coach Jeter was there, but hopefully they’ll still honor it with the new coaching staff.
EM: Which schools show interest that haven’t yet offered?
GF: Stanford, Boise State, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Maryland, Oklahoma, UNLV, Northern Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota
EM: Michigan seems to be focusing on the Milwaukee area a bit with Jordan Poole in the mix and now reaching out to you – what is your relationship like with UM?
GF: It’s in the beginning stages, but I’ve spoken with Coach Saddi and he seems like a great person so I would say it’s growing.
EM: Any visits or team camps lined up in the near future?
GF: I just completed Stanford camp, and nothing else lined up as of now.
EM: What factors are important to you and your family when making your college decision?
GF: Location, weather, education, and the basketball program.
IV. PERSONAL GOALS & ADVICE
EM: Any personal goals on or off the court?
GF: Finish college and hopefully play professionaly.
EM: Last, if you could give the youth some advice on how to succeed either on or off the court, what would you say?
GF: Just continue to work for whatever you want to accomplish and stay humble.
