Gabe Brown is an elite student-athlete in the class of 2018 currently attending Belleville High School in Belleville, Michigan. Gabe is just starting his ascent in the state of Michigan, but the 6’6 forward is brimming with potential. Currently a member of The Michigan Mustangs AAU team, Brown is a long and energetic south paw who displays the ability to knock down three pointers off the catch, give multiple efforts on the glass, and dig in on the defensive side of the court.
I. AAU & SELF ANALYSIS
EM: Congrats on the great Spring so far, you’ve turned some heads with your ability. Can you tell us how things are going for the Michigan Mustangs as a team and for you individually?
GB: The circuit is going well, thanks to Coach Mike Faletti and Coach Jon because they’ve really been putting in a lot of time taking me back and fourth to the gym and games. Our team is playing well together and have won 2 championships.

EM: Can you describe your game for those that are not familiar?
GB: I’m a wing that can play 2-4, a scorer, rebounder and a defender. I am 6’6 with a 7’0 wingspan and 9 foot reach so I stretch the floor with my length.
EM: How often do you work on your game?
GB: I work on my game 7 days a week with my coaches, brother, and teammates. I need to continue getting stronger and bigger.

II. ACADEMICS AND OFF-COURT INTERESTS
EM: Can we talk a bit about your interests as a student, what is your favorite subject?
GB: I really like social studies because I like learning about the past.
EM: What do you plan to major in when attending college?
GB: I would like to be a physical trainer, so if my basketball career doesn’t work out, I’ll have something to fall back on and stay close to the game I love.
EM: What are your interests off the court?
GB: I like hanging out with my brother and grandparents.

IV. PERSONAL GOALS & ADVICE
EM: Any personal goals on or off the court?
GB: On the court, I want to sign to a D1 college, start at a D1 college, become a top 10 pick in the draft, and make it the NBA. Off the court, I want to make my dad and my brother proud, buy my mother a home, and make it to heaven to see my dad smile and hear that he was proud of me.
EM: Last, if you could give the youth some advice on how to succeed either on or off the court, what would you say?
GB: “Work hard in silence, make you success make the noise.”
