     I.  AAU & SELF ANALYSIS

EM: Congrats on the great Spring, you turned some heads with your ability. Can you tell us how things are going for Pro Skills as a team and for you individually?

MA: Things are going great, we’ve gained a lot of chemistry with each other on and off the court. Individually, my confidence has skyrocketed ever since our last game in Indiana when we beat Georgia Stars, where I had a really good game, which carried on throughout EYBL in Virginia and Atlanta.

EM: Can you describe your game for those that are not familiar?

MA: I’m versatile, if you put someone smaller on me then I’ll post them up, but if you put someone bigger on me, I can drive by them.

EM: How often do you work on your game?

MA: Every day. My high school gym is always open, so I get my Mom or Dad to drop me off there every morning before they go off to work.

     II. ACADEMICS AND OFF-COURT INTERESTS

EM: Can we talk a bit about your interests as a student, what is your favorite subject?

MA: My family and I are real big on academics, they’re always preaching to me that school is before basketball. My favorite subject in school is Math.

EM: What do you plan to major in when attending college?

MA: In college I plan to major in Accounting.

EM: What are your interests off the court?

MA: When I’m off the court, I’m always listening to music and hanging with my family and friends. I also have to include that my shoe collection is starting to look pretty decent lol.

      III. RECRUITING

EM: Shifting a bit to recruiting, can you tell us which schools have offered?

MA: Boise State, Iowa State, UT-San Antonio, UTEP, Mercer, Sam Houston State, UIW, Rio Grande Valley, Buffalo, Toledo, Long Island

EM: Which schools show interest that haven’t yet offered?

MA: Colorado, Minnesota, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas, TCU, Texas Tech

EM: Which schools are recruiting you the hardest right now?

MA: Boise State, Buffalo, Rio Grande Valley, UT-San Antonio

EM: Do you have a top group of schools that you’re focused on at this point?

MA: Not right now, I’m going to focus on it more in August.

EM: Any visits or team camps lined up in the near future?

MA: Not yet, I’ve just been using this free time to be in the gym.

EM: What factors are important to you and your family when making your college decision?

MA: From an academic standpoint, I want to go to a school that’s a good business school and can help me complete the major I’m interested in. From a basketball standpoint, I want to go to a school that’s the perfect fit for me and would allow me to play my freshman. year.

EM: Do you have a timeline for your decision?

MA: Not yet.

     IV. PERSONAL GOALS & ADVICE

EM: Any personal goals on or off the court?

MA: I want to dominate in Peach Jam, splash onto the scene and get into the ESPN top 100.

EM: Last, if you could give the youth some advice on how to succeed either on or off the court, what would you say?

MA: Never settle, always be paranoid that someone else is also working to be the best and use that as extra motivation to go harder.
